Easter, as everyone knows, is a strange holiday that focuses on candy and eggs instead of the real religious origins. How this came to be, no one really knows. Of course, there is speculation that candy companies had a big say in it, but there was another factor largely forgotten about: Where, in God’s name, did the Easter Bunny come from?
And how do eggs tie into the whole “rabbit bearing candy in a basket” idea? Well, hopefully, this story will help shed some light on the matter.
